After the Fire was formed as a non-profit band raising money for local charities.  The band played its first benefit in August of 1988. Over the years the band has consisted of at least 4 horns and sometimes as many as 6 horn players. The band has been fortunate to have some of the best musicians in the Northern Colorado Area and played an average of 8 times a year. In 2012 through 2013 the band will be celebrating 25 years of raising money for causes ranging from organizations needing money for equipment to individuals needing an organ transplant.
